Auditing - ISO 19011:
For auditing ISO 9000 and more.
This seminar covers in detail (a) the considerations for establishing
the overall audit system (b) the differences in the processes for
internal audit, supplier audit and third party audit, and (c) in
anticipation of the forthcoming revision to ISO 19011, the process
for performing an individual audit of any management system, in addition
to quality, environmental, health and safety management systems.
Learning
Objectives – Upon completion of this seminar, one will be able to:

Understand and use audit terminology;
•
Understand the differences among internal, supplier and third
party auditing processes;
•
Understand how to integrate the auditing process for quality,
environmental, health and safety auditing;
•
Use a “compliance-based” or “effectiveness-based” audit
objective;
•
Use a “risk-based” or non-risk based audit scope;
•
Use "system-based”/ “program-based”, “performance-based” and
“results-based” data collection techniques;
•
Perform and lead internal and supplier audits;
•
Design, develop and implement internal and supplier audit
processes;
•
Manage or assess such processes.
About our instructor:
Ben Marguglio has fifty-three years of experience with high
technology enterprises, currently as a management and technical
consultant and formerly as a corporate employee - including executive
level director and division director positions. He is the originator of
the new and unique human error causal factor taxonomy, and presenter of
the acclaimed "Human Error Prevention" Seminar. Ben is a Fellow of the
American Society for Quality (ASQ) since 1974. He is certified by ASQ as
a Quality Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Quality Auditor, and Manager
of Quality / Organizational Excellence. He is the author of more than
100 technical and management papers and presentations and three books on
Quality and Human Error Prevention.
